A lady called the office as she suspected her husband of cheating. Client believed he was seeing her ideal friend, who is also married. Our client had been a bit suspicious before due to the fact they usually flirted about each other and seemed to have private jokes. When she mentioned it to her husband he always told her she was being silly and that they had been just excellent friends
. She was quite upset and she stated it had taken her a couple days to pluck up the courage to call us. We reassured her that she was doing the proper thing and it could be greater to know the truth.She told us about her scenario and we talked about what options she had. As the client knew when each her husband and friend were going out we decided to do a six hour session of surveillance. We followed the husband from work and confident enough he was meeting the friend in a wine bar. They were fairly intimate with one another and soon after a few drinks they went to a local hotel. They need to have pre booked a room as they went straight to the lift and didn’t come back down for a couple of hours.
We had been able to present our client with photographs of her husband and friend together and tell her about their movements over the six hours of surveillance. Our client, even though devastated, was in a position to make an informed decision about what to do subsequent.
Right after she had got more than the initial shock of it all she filed for divorce and informed her friend’s husband of the affair. Her friend’s husband also filed for divorce. He had had his own suspicions of his wife’s infidelity for fairly some time. They are now helping each other get more than the whole affair.
